She is a member of the board of Governors of APLA along with Amfar. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada, has asked her to replace him on occasions at AIDS associated events. Additionally she hosted an AIDS Awareness Special along with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan was nominated to win an Emmy for her performance in the Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. In spring, she was a guest alongside Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. Summer began by presenting Murder At The PTA Luncheon, produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams also appeared. The next part of her project brought Morgan to Luxembourg and she was a part of the cast in the role of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan has also appeared in an action-packed psychological thriller produced exclusively for USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top reviews of all time for that network.
